RFL begins at 6pm on Saturday and ends at 10am on Sunday.

RFL is an overnight even to symbolize that cancer doesn’t sleep and to mark the journey of the survivor from dusk to dawn.

The Registration Fee per individual is RM50, inclusive of GST.

The Registration Fee per team of 10 pax is RM450 only, inclusive of GST.

No.  Entry is FOC for Survivors.  However, Survivors still have to register online to be entitled to a Survivors’ RFL Kit.

You will get a RFL t-shirt, entry wristband & non-woven bag.

You can come to the NCSM office to register, however you will still have to register online at our office.

 

Collection Day of RFL Kits will be on 26 & 27th August from 10am to 5pm at NCSM, 66 Jalan Raja Muda Abdul Aziz, 50300 Kuala Lumpur.

All registrations are strictly non-refundable.

What is Relay for Life (RFL)?
RFL Malaysia is a 16-hour relay, where people come together and take turns walking or running around the track to celebrate cancer survivorship. It also hopes to raise cancer awareness and get community support to eradicate the disease.

RFL Malaysia happens in:
KL – Dataran PJ, 9-10 September 2017. This is the 11th year.

Penang – Stadium Olaraga USM, 30th September-1st October 2017. This is the 13th year.

Melaka – Dataran Pahlawan, 22-23rd April 2017. This is the 7th year.

What time does RFL begin & end?
RFL begins at 6pm on Saturday and ends at 10am on Sunday.

Why is a RFL an overnight event?

Do I have to stay the entire 16 hours?
No.  This simply means that the RFL track cannot be left empty of people walking for 16 hours.  

Who can participate in RFL?
Everyone.

What is the Registration Fee?
The Registration Fee per individual is RM50, inclusive of GST.
The Registration Fee for a child is RM20, inclusive of GST. This only applies to child age 6 to 12. For child age 12 and above will be considered as an adult.
The Registration Fee for child age 5 and below is free.
The Registration Fee per team of 10 pax is RM450 only, inclusive of GST

Is the registration fee tax-exempted?
No.

Do Survivors have to pay?
No.  Entry is FOC for Survivors.  However, Survivors still have to register online to be entitled to a Survivors’ RFL Kit.

Can a Survivor register as a group?
You can come to RFL as a group but you will still need to register online individually.

What am I entitled to as a registered participant?
You will get a RFL t-shirt, entry wristband & non-woven bag.

Can I register personally at the NCSM office?
You can come to the NCSM office to register, however you will still have to register online at our office.

Where & when can I collect my RFL Kit?

Monday – Friday, 10am – 3.30pm except on weekends and public holidays at National Cancer Society Malaysia HQ office, 66 Jalan Raja Muda Abdul Aziz, 50300 Kuala Lumpur. 

Additionally, Saturday 26th August is also open for collection from 10am – 3pm.

Please give us a call at 0326987300 before collecting it.

You will need to bring your Order confirmation when you come to collect your Registration Kits.

However, for international or outstation participants, you may collect your Registration Kits on the event day, September 9, from 4 pm onwards.

Do I get a refund if I choose not to attend after registration?
All registrations are strictly non-refundable.

If I donate online, can I get a tax-exemption receipt?
Yes, you can for donations of RM50 and above only.

Is food & beverage available on-site?
Yes.  You can purchase food coupons of RM10 per sheet at designated counters on-site and purchase a wide variety of F&B at our F&B booths.

Can I purchase a camping tent or camping space on-site?
Yes.  Camping Tents are RM70 a piece & camping space is RM30 per space. However camping tents are subject to availability, so purchase it when you register.

Do I get to pick my camp site?
Camp sites are chosen on a first come, first serve basis. The earlier you arrive, the more spots you will get to choose from.

I’m under 18 years old – is that okay?
That’s great – we love seeing youth join the fight against cancer! Please ensure you get your parent(s) or guardian (s) permission. You will be required to provide their IC’s and phone number when registering online.

Children below 15 must always be accompanied by an adult.

What happens if it’s raining?
The event will generally go ahead, rain or shine. In extreme bad weather, the organising committee will decide if it’s safe for the event to continue.

Will first aid be available?
Yes, we have first aid available for the entire event. Please go to the Secretariat office on event day for any inquiries.

How can my business get involved?
Relay for Life cant happen without the support and sponsorship from businesses as well as the general public. We seek sponsorship contributions in the form of cash, in-kind contributions, relay teams and volunteers (to name a few). Can I register someone using my email?
Yes, but the e-ticket of the ‘registered’ participant will be emailed to your email

What if I don’t want to register online or if I don’t have an email address?
If you don’t have an email address, you will still need someone with an email address to help you register. If you need help in registering online, please come over to our office and our committee team will guide you.

Will there be bathrooms?
Yes, bathrooms will be available on site.

Where should I park?
The only available parking slots are at Amcorp Mall (Opposite of the Dataran). We do advise you take either public transport (there is an LRT station nearby) or a taxi.
